Madipose Tissue

So, I have these two growths on the side of my hips and Dr. Patt, my dear Dr. Patt, just to be safe, wanted me to see a hip specialist to find out what they are and completely verify they are not malignant. We were hoping they were irritated, swollen, bursae. I do have bursitis, but the two tumor like areas are not bursa. I am going in for an MRI as soon as we can schedule it, but my new orthopedic surgeons preliminary diagnosis is inflamed, irritated fat!

So I don't just have a buttload of fat, pun intended, but it's also inflamed, irritated tissue? What the hay???  I mean I'm irritated it's there - that's for sure. I asked my new Doc if there was a technical word for this kind of different fat and he said nope. So I have a suggestion; if fat is technically adipose tissue and a synonym for irritated, inflamed is mad?

I suggest we call it madipose tissue.

;-)

On the no-mo-cartilage-knee front, before I do knee replacements, I am thinking of trying SYNVISC (hylan F-F 20) knee injections.

Anyone have any experience with these injections?
